This series of 12 pieces was created in response to the US Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade, declaring that the constitutional right to an abortion no longer exists.

This series was accepted into the Mini Show at the Art*Bar in Milwaukee's River West neighborhood. 

​

Each piece includes a female figure cut out of copper or brass sheet and tube riveted to a collaged background of gelli plate monoprints on paper. A copper or brass circle stamped with "my body my choice" is riveted to each piece. The frame is a 1" deep shadow box made of balsa wood. Each piece measures 5"x5".
